The Leading-Edge Leader™ (LEL) Curriculum
Leading Self
Typically, this content is skipped in traditional leadership programs which is a mistake to our way of thinking. Knowing who you are and what you value, understanding your skills and strengths and increasing your confidence & emotional intelligence is foundational to being a capable leader of other people. Â
 
    
    
  
 
    
    
  
Leading Others
So much of leading others is common sense but not common practice. During this journey, participants come to understand that developing others on their team shouldn't be an afterthought, but rather an essential part of their everyday activities. This segment provides a toolkit of invaluable key management concepts and practices that can be implemented right away.    Â
Leading the Organization
This last segment rounds out your leaders education regarding their ability to make decisions in alignment with the overall strategy of the organization. It features functional leaders from your organization sharing key business initiatives and how the organization makes money. Also included is instruction on how to set goals, how to successfully manage projects and the importance of creating an all-star customer service experience.
 
    
    
  
 
    
  
  Format
The curriculum can be delivered entirely virtually, entirely in-person or in a blended fashion. Â
 
    
  
  Timing
Each segment of the training (Leading Self, Leading Others & Leading the Organization) takes about three months. Â
 
    
  
  Cohort Size
An ideal cohort size is about 30 participants. We recommend populating it with individuals from across the organization. Â
